Some basic theoretical concepts This Section deals with some, but not all, of the basic concepts which Pia get has developed to give coherence to his explanation of the nature of intelligence. Some of these have been touched upon already, for example, the view that mental processes are internalized actions and that they are reversible. There are other more general ideas, however, which unite the whole theoretical framework, and it is with these that this Section is concerned.
