ABSTRACT
27.1. In this chapter are collected those prefixes that owe their origin to prepositions. Some such prefixes were already treated in the preceding chapter, where attention was called to the difference between these prefixes as real prepositions followed by their regimen, and the same without a regimen, thus used ‘adverbially’ (or in some cases adjunctally).
