ABSTRACT
As a preliminary to making more detailed suggestions about the ingredients of dynamic urbanism, it may be useful to establish a basis for a global urban-design strategy. In developing thoughts about the fundamentals of urbanism, ideas have been plundered from other disciplines in a manner devoid of academic morality.
