ABSTRACT

On the scale of unknowns and unresolved issues facing schizophrenia, its relationship to certain features of personality has not ranked particularly highly. That there is some kind of link is undeniable – if nothing else personality has been mentioned too many times in too many contexts throughout this book for this not to be the case. But to venture further produces an uneasy feeling that one is stepping into a field where concepts are far less well defined than in the rest of schizophrenia research.
