ABSTRACT
So far in this book we have discussed many of the kinds of information we can get from people's faces, including how we use the face's physical structure to infer characteristics such as age and sex, how we recognise emotions from facial expressions, how we use cues such as gaze to make inferences about whether someone is interested in what we are saying, and how we recognise the faces of familiar people.
