Performance Outcomes as Leadership Practices Interact
The core message of this book is that on the input side sustainable leadership involves a wide range of practices. We have identified 23 such ‘leadership’ practices and explained how they affect organisational performance, depending on whether Honeybee or Locust principles are adopted. On the outcome side, sustainable leadership involves far more than simply being profitable, green or socially responsible, although those goals make a good start. To be sustainable also requires enhancing customer satisfaction, brand and reputation and long-term stakeholder value.
