ABSTRACT
In Chapter 4, the basic theory of school-based management was introduced and discussed. The characteristics of school-based management can provide the necessary condition for facilitating schools to develop and pursue dynamic school effectiveness. In this chapter, the advantages of school-based management will be further developed with integration of the concepts of strategic management and self-management at multi-levels in school.
