ABSTRACT
This chapter begins with a focus on defining persuasion. It then looks at motivation appeals and how we reason by generalization and comparison and from cause and effect. It also covers an in-depth focus on fallacies. The chapter ends with a focus on speeches to convince, reinforce, and activate.
