ABSTRACT

As Marilyn Ferguson, the New Age poet and philosopher, once said, “Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom.” The fear of an entrepreneur is the inability to fund the enterprise. Every entrepreneur starts off realizing that the startup must be financed and worries about how to do it. Of all the functions that an entrepreneur must do, none is more unpleasant than raising funds. It is a difficult and depressing task. Maintaining passion following presentation after presentation, most of which do not produce funds, is a disheartening process.
