After the harvest process is necessary that the rice passes for a preliminary cleaning process in which impurities are removed, like soil, plant scraps or other organic materials. The reception and processing involves a large proportion of manpower that works in the mills. It is in this phase that the reception, separation and grain treatment occurs and subsequently is storage. Finally it gets shipped to the market using many different forms (road, rail, river or sea).
