ABSTRACT
According to the National Program of Prevention against Labor Accidents (Brazil), there occurred 4,957 Labor Accidents in the State of Paraiba in 2010, out of which 2,166 were typical accidents. In the computation of the afore-mentioned data (2,166 typical accidents), the accidents that resulted in immediate lesions-which took place in the construction of popular houses-are surely included, having been caused by the socalled hand wood-cutting tool, during the use of the main wood-made Roof Beam.
