ABSTRACT

A new way for the inclusion of ergonomics in the business community is discussed, and takes into account the need for a financial justification for its implementation. One of the main discussions is that the companies usually do not approve projects that involve some investments without expecting significant results (Kirwan, 2003). Searching for a response to this situation, researches in the area investigate the performance of ergonomic intervention for well-known occupational problems through an economical perspective.
