ABSTRACT
Nanotechnology has been exponentially developed over the last decade, involving the most diverse sectors, bringing promises to create better and new materials with properties never achieved before. It involves the production, processing and application of materials with dimensions 1-100 ηm (Aitken et al., 2006, Amoabediny et al., 2009, Beaulieu, 2009, CE, 2011, Crosera et al., 2009, Gupta, 2011, Iavicoli et al., 2010, NIOSH, 2009).
