ABSTRACT
For Coutinho (1994), one of the main reasons for not using PPE lies in the fact that many of PPE used in agriculture, due to its inadequacy, can cause thermal discomfort, making them quite uncomfortable to use and can lead, in extreme cases, heat stress of rural worker.
