ABSTRACT
Medical professionals need assurance that the cannabis products they are recommending have quality standards that are confirmed through reputable analysis to ensure they are providing patients safe and effective products. Whether over-the-counter cannabis products need to be held to the same quality standards as pharmaceuticals has yet to be determined. Research and consumer demand will help determine future requirements.
