ABSTRACT
Perhaps no better example of the politics of ‘marginal’ fields in the North Sea exists than in the Danish gas fields. These fields show clearly the interplay between government and corporate preferences, and represent no fewer than six years of political manoeuvring, controversy, and concentrated efforts.
