ABSTRACT
Until now we have looked at the Nāth Yogīs from a religious history perspective, examining their affiliation with a precise soteriological current. We shall now focus on their own organization as sampradāya, thus examining more specifically the relationship between the individual ascetic and the sectarian group, on the marks of belonging and on the internal structure of the sect.
