ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we undertake a comparative study of education systems in developed and developing countries. We first understand what e-governance is and in what ways it helps us. Then we look into the role of education in the development of a country. After understanding the importance of education, we examine the education system in developed countries such as the US, Japan, and China and developing countries such as India, Ghana, and Argentina to find the loopholes that are in the education systems of developing countries. This provides a way to improve the standards and quality of education and increase the pace of development in these developing countries.
