ABSTRACT
This conclusion present some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book applies a revolutionary interpretation of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari to financialization. It operates an analysis of financialization through an engagement with an interdisciplinary Marxian literature. The book contributes the accumulation of knowledge in relation to the economy and its articulation with the rest of social and subjective life. It analyses a first position that characterize the philosophy of Deleuze and Guattari as being elitist, that is to say a purely philosophical oeuvre reserved for an elite of professional philosophers. The book demonstrates that there was a liberal interpretation of the philosophy of Deleuze and Guattari that argued that the Deleuzo-Guattarian oeuvre was compatible with capitalism. It argues that a revolutionary reception of Deleuze and Guattari existed that asserted that this oeuvre could be used so as to criticize and transcend capitalism.
