ABSTRACT
The greeting, “Live long and prosper,” was popularized by actor Leonard Nimoy as the character Mr. Spock in the 1960s–1970s-television series, Star Trek. Actually, the greeting is a variation of a Jewish blessing recorded in Deuteronomy 5:33 of the Holy Bible (NIV).
