ABSTRACT
The chapter is devoted to the description of the purpose and content of the book Electronic and Electrical Humidity Sensors. In particular, the rationale for moisture sensors is given, and the classification of humidity sensors and main sensor characteristics are analyzed. Materials acceptable for application in humidity sensors and requirements for humidity sensors are considered.
