ABSTRACT
The extent to which the coal-mining industry has been dominated by politics and the amount of time the House of Commons has devoted to the consideration of matters relating to it, may be gauged by the number of Acts of Parliament placed on the Statute Book. Here is a list of them for the period we are reviewing. It is by no means complete, for it includes only the principal measures.
