ABSTRACT
Dermatologic surgery applications keep increasing. Patients prefer easier, clinic-based surgical procedures with minimum downtime and superior aesthetic outcome. The technical and practical criteria of radiofrequency surgery largely fulfill these expectations. These criteria are unmatched by any other surgical modality. A survey done among dermatologists found radiofrequency surgery to be the most favored surgical modality used in their dermatologic surgery practice. The affordability, low maintenance costs, and completeness of the radiofrequency surgery equipment gives it a superior edge over others.
