ABSTRACT
The chapter presents the core findings of an ongoing study into the popularity of tribal customary systems among members of the tribes themselves, offering reasons as to why these conflict resolution systems remain popular in the present day, pointing out differences of opinion between different tribes and ruminating about the factors that have contributed to their perseverance through to the present day, with an eye to their future.
