ABSTRACT
Many patent practitioners contend that the preparation and prosecution of chemical patent applications is an area of specialty unto itself. For those readers who likely will never have occasion to deal with chemical inventions, there is merit to reading this chapter because some of the topics covered have applicability to other areas as well. An effort has been made in covering this area not to duplicate materials covered elsewhere.
