ABSTRACT
This article takes a brief look at how space structures have evolved since their appearance in the world of construction until the present day. A series of representative works built in Spain over the last 15 years using modern manufacturing technologies demonstrates the possibilities offered by this kind of structure to architects and designers when designing roofs to cover large spans and complex typologies.
