ABSTRACT
The uses of pyridine include: in the denaturation of alcohol; as a solvent in paint and rubber preparation; in research laboratories; as an intermediate in production of various insecticides and herbicides; as an intermediate in preparation of drugs, dyes, water repellents, and polycarbonate resins; as a flavoring agent in preparation of foods; and as a solvent in the preparation of chemicals used in rubber vulcanization.
