ABSTRACT
The uses of benzene include: as a component of gasoline, lacquer solvents, paint removers; manufacturing of medicinal chemicals, dyes, organic compounds, artificial leather, oil cloth, varnishes, airplane dopes, waxes, and resins oils; and as a chemical intermediate in the manufacturing of ethyl benzene, chlorobenzenes, anthraquinone, and benzene hexachloride.
