ABSTRACT
The uses of cobalt include: in jet engines, carbide abrasives and tools; as a drier in paints, component of super alloys, magnetic alloy; as a catalyst; ground coat or frit for porcelain enameling of steel bathroom fixtures, appliances; and in the production of prosthetic devices for surgical implants.
