ABSTRACT
The uses of ethyl acetate include: as a solvent in the lacquer industry; constituent of various artificial fruit essences; solvent for nitrocellulose, varnishes, airplane dopes; in the manufacturing of smokeless powder, artificial leather, artificial silk, perfumes, photographic film and plates; and as a cleaner for textiles. In addition, it is used in fermentation industries that produce whisky and beer.
