ABSTRACT
The uses of ethylene glycol monoethyl ether (EGEE) include: as a solvent for inks, varnish removers, adhesives, paints and cleaners; and as a anti-icing additive in aviation fuel. Approximately 50% of all EGEE produced is used as a chemical intermediate for the production of ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate.
