ABSTRACT
Aldrin was first synthesized for use as a pesticide in 1948, but ceased production in 1974. Its past usages included: control of corn pests; timber preservation; general crop protection from insects; and termite-proofing of plywood and building boards, and plastic and rubber coverings of electrical and telecommunication cables. Aldrin is no longer registered in the United States.
