ABSTRACT

Several of the teams carrying out the benchmark simulations made minor changes to the supplied results after their initial submission. General comments on the results were also permitted and where those do not form part of the statements of methods they are also included here. According to the agreements of the Manchester Benchmark Final Result Meeting held at 14th December 1998, INTEC has made minor corrections to the excitation, and the definition of the measurements. The vehicle models themselves have not been changed. The following list shows all details of the minor corrections: Track Case 1: Accidentally the profiles at the right side of the wheelsets where mixed up. Track Case 2: The mistake with the profiles described also appeared in the simulations of track two. Track Case 3: The sinusoidal dips have been defined in the opposite direction.
