ABSTRACT

The primary intention of this chapter is to provide the reader with a description of a viable process for implementation of the ECO model and development of greater Ever-Changing Organization (ECO) capacity. Second, the process has been designed to be consistent with the concepts and tools presentedThe process outlined in the chapter is only one of many possible approaches to deciding and carrying out the implementation of an ECO-building process. An ECO-building process is like any other business process. It can always be improved. Organizations with strong ECO capability will apply the components of the ECO model to the continuous improvement of their capability. It is important that the decision to move toward increasing ECO capability is based on sound thinking and analyses and more than a quirky sense of need or a short-term response to the latest management theory. Support for the process cannot wax and wane if success is to be achieved.
