ABSTRACT

The work presents the selected problems of modelling and synthesis of a dynamic rail-vehicle system. It describes the selection of co-ordinate systems and the advantages which could be gained from these co-ordinates describing the connection of articulated bodies in space. The mathematical model has been built using the Lagrange’s formalism of the 2nd type. The theorem and its proof concerning the equivalence of models described by equations of state and equations of motion, have been presented.
