The following is a very compact, selective, intuitive, and unavoidably incomplete (but adequate for our purposes) summary of some aspects of the fundamental concepts and equations of motion of classical (nonrelativistic and nonquantum) dynamics. The problem and method of analytical dynamics (AD) are also outlined.*
