ABSTRACT

Readers will expect this chapter to immediately address problematic circumstances between supervisors and trainees. It will do that-eventually. However, it usually is helpful to have a big conceptual map that offers training glitches as understandable and predictable predecessors to the clinical growth of all parties to the training. Such a map also facilitates the creation-on the spot or otherwise-of acceptable interventions. Therefore, the materials in this chapter begin with conceptual overviews followed by situation-specific pragmatics.
