Assessment of the economic loss from the GNDT-DPC-SSN safety evaluation forms

During the earthquake which has stricken central Italy from September 26, 1997 to the end of the year, more than 36.000 safety evaluation inspections have been performed in Marche region using the new form proposed by DPC (Department for Civil Protection), GNDT (National Group for Earthquake Protection) and SSN (National Seismic Survey). In this paper a method is presented to estimate the repairing costs of the buildings using the data gathered with the form.
