ABSTRACT
The motion of the vibrator: The motion of the vibrator is analysed on the basis of simple physical models. Approximate solutions for the amplitudes of the vibrator motion are derived for the free vibration (in air) as well as for the vibration in soil. A check of the derived expressions is done by an example of special vibrator.
