ABSTRACT

Physical Ergonomics Rehabilitation Center has been selected for inclusion because of its highly professional and successful approach to physical rehabilitation. This rehabilitation organization serves as a model for its genre in working effectively with patients, employers, and physicians. The center's goal is to provide all parties involved in a worker's recovery with an accurate assessment of the client's physical and functional capabilities and an aggressive rehabilitation program to help the client progress to his or her maximum functional potential quickly and safely. Programs are focused on flexibility exercises, aerobic conditioning, and progressive resistive strength training, as well as functional restoration activities and work simulation, postural stabilization programs, and back education. Protocols for specific injuries to the hands, wrists, knees, and all other extremity joints may be incorporated, as well as programs for back and neck injuries.
