ABSTRACT
Background A 23-year-old woman with a history of myasthenia gravis was having a contrast-enhanced chest CT examination using conventional high-osmolality ionic-contrast material. She experienced severe muscle weakness, inability to swallow, weak respiration and inability to talk.
