ABSTRACT
Every organization is resource-constrained so everyone looks for methods and opportunities to accomplish multiple demands as efficiently as possible. A specialized steering team is needed for this important work. Process mastering can provide a framework for establishing and standardizing safe processes. Mastering a process under a Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) system means making a few modifications to the standard process mastering steps. Workers in the process need to be trained in the best known way of doing the process, as usual. In addition, the process workers will need to understand the HACCP system. When the organization's processes have been documented and accurate records are the norm, formal internal audits are performed with reports to management. Any discrepancies are noted, and corrective actions are undertaken. The management team saw that the number of processes would be impossible to complete in a reasonable time.
