ABSTRACT

In Chapter 6, I explained how information can be described as a sub-σ-algebra of the basic σ-algebra https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9780203742013/69a53f4e-97e6-48d7-bf94-69ab32e54fc6/content/f.tif"/> on Ω. I shall now add a dynamic element into this description. Usually or hopefully, we become wiser as time goes by, meaning that our information increases in time. Here, we shall only consider the discrete time case, meaning that we only update our information at times which are integer multiples of a given time unit (such as minutes, hours, days, weeks, etc.). Hence, we shall only consider time sets which are integer intervals, that is, sets of the form
