ABSTRACT
Photosensitive polyimides (PSPIs) are double-purpose polymers and are used as permanent materials or as temporary processing aids. Depending on their application, these polymers can be considered either as photopatternable heat-resistant materials having specific electrical, optical, or protection properties, or as thermostable photoresists used as high-performance masks for a subsequent localized process, and removed at the end.
