ABSTRACT
Computers and the Internet have changed the paradigm of modern society including the field of education. Represented by textbooks and pens in the past, learning has quickly changed into production of digital artefacts by computers and this trend appears more clearly in higher education. Now, the term “computer” is too general, as new media and various devices, such as the smartphone and tablet PC, have become popular. Introduction of smart media does not simply mean changes in equipment from a computer to new devices. It created new value using IT and caused a paradigm transfer to a smart society that impacts many areas of of life. Smart society has brought big changes in people’s lifestyle and mindset settling as the subject of social innovation.
