ABSTRACT

This paper presents some ways of getting more experienced, understanding and creative people, who are working with bridge maintenance. This paper also describes examples of co-operations and systems, which are in use in order to collect and spread knowledge. Furthermore the paper will describe different ways of organising the work of a client, in order to exchange experiences and train the bridge maintenance people in Sweden. At last, this paper describes future trends, new ways of co-operation and the clients organisations in order to get more skilful and creative people in the future, who are going to work with bridge maintenance. What is described as a good way of working with maintenance of bridges does not necessary means that that the Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA) always works in this way.
