ABSTRACT
This chapter describes some recent work on the spatial decay of solutions of the Navier-Stokes equation. It discusses the well-developed energy stability theory for the Navier-Stokes equations. The chapter presents a decay estimate for solutions as well as perturbations of solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations.
