ABSTRACT
Maslow used previous work on factors associated with motivation in order to produce what he described as a hierarchy of needs. Prior to Maslow’s work, most theorists had considered aspects of motivation separately such as biological factors, achievement, etc. Maslow attempted to integrate these factors together in his model.
