ABSTRACT
On Nelson’s flagship there were twins, one with dinner-plate ears and one with dinner-plate eyes. The twin with the dinner-plate eyes was always posted to the crow’s nest at the top of the tallest mast to look for enemy ships. He spotted one and called down to his Admiral: ‘Admiral, there is a French ship three miles away on the horizon’.
