These two comments are attributed to General Carlos Romulo, the 84 year old Foreign Minister of the Philippines who is well known for introducing jokes into his speeches.
Old soldiers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs never die and nor do they fade away. They just carry on with their foreign affairs.
General Romulo visited his doctor with a request that the doctor lower his libido. He was told that this would be difficult since libido was all in the head. The General replied, ‘Exactly, I want it lowered’.
